![]() I spent an hour adjusting the lenses, trying to get rid of the overlapping ghosting effects of a 2D photograph before realising this. That is you cannot view 2D images with the headset – all images must be in side by side (sbs) format to start with. ![]() There are brief instructions on setting up the headset, however, through trial and error, I realised that one very important piece of information is missing. The lack of marketing for this product risks putting people off from engaging with the basic VR learning curve, as there is very little information about functionality or what can be done with this head mount. So if you want to use the NFC function you will have to download another app that is meant for these type of head mounts (apps for Google Cardboard, Colorcross, Durovis Drive, and many other head mounts should work). The included NFC sticker when placed in the phone holder can activate an app that is designed to be used with the head mount….but is useless if there is no app to download from Leap HD. ![]() Great! Leap HD have obviously abandoned support for this. There is a QR code on the back of the instruction booklet that when scanned on my phone takes me to a dead page. In fact this model is a rebranded Xiaozhai VR headset – so if you can pick that up for a cheaper price I would do so! This particular unit is being resold by a French company called Leap HD. It is just a plastic headset based on Google Cardboard that will hold a mobile phone. The product description is misleading as there is no magnetic control included.
